Spectrio’s New Private Label TV Allows Venue Operators To Avoid Cable TV Viewing Conflicts In Common Areas

Digital signage software and experiential solutions firm Spectrio has developed a new service that lets operators curate and control what’s on the screens in common areas – like customer waiting rooms and staff break lounges.
Called Private Label TV (PLTV), the service allows businesses like car dealerships to better control what’s airing on the TVs in the waiting room, avoiding the sorts of debates and conflicts that might, for example, come up if a right-leaning customer isn’t happy with the left-leaning cable news channel showing on the screen.
It also gets around the challenge of running broadcast TV and having commercials for competing businesses pop up for customers, and minimizes the risk of inadvertently showing offensive or inappropriate content to whoever is in the immediate area, including children.
