Rise Vision Partners With Avocor To Add Digital Signage Messaging To Collaboration Displays
June 6, 2023 by Dave Haynes
The collaboration displays company Avocor has done a partnership that sees Rise Vision’s CMS software loaded on the Oregon company’s meetings-focused screens, allowing them to double up as corporate communications and emergency messaging units.
The partnership is a result of a broader partnership between Avocor and Taiwanese display manufacturer AUO Display Plus, which acquired Rise Vision last summer. I don’t know this, but am making the reasonable assumption that AUO manufactures Avocor’s range of displays.
Set to be launched in Q3 of this year, says PR on the partnership, the first release forged by the strategic alliance of Avocor and AUO Display Plus (ADP), will combine the powerhouse collaboration capabilities of Avocor displays with the engaging and dynamic functionality of Rise Vision digital signage software, enabling customers to easily deliver corporate communications and quickly deploy emergency alerts directly to employees.
Rise Vision is a leading cloud-based digital signage platform that enables users to easily create and manage content from anywhere, across multiple displays and locations, using any device with an Internet connection. Intuitive and incredibly simple to use, Rise Vision features hundreds of customizable templates, dramatically reducing the time it takes to deliver impactful digital signage. Additional functionality includes emergency broadcast capabilities with real-time updates and a scheduling system, making the platform a robust addition for corporate communications, educational establishments, healthcare, or government settings.
“The combination of Rise Vision with Avocor displays will provide users with a powerful tool for enhancing education campuses or enterprise-wide communication and engagement,” says Rise Vision CEO Brian Loosbrock. “Users can now remotely broadcast announcements, update schedules, and send emergency alerts across multiple displays in different locations, helping organizations improve communication, safety, and collaboration.”
Visitors at both the Avocor booth (#3671) and the ADP Booth (#4481) at InfoComm in Orlando, Florida, June 15-17 will get to see the Rise Vision and Avocor solution on full display, as well as learn more about future planned offerings from this strategic alliance.
“We continually look at ways to best serve our customers by providing solutions that foster collaboration, productivity and real-time communication, and as such, we’re excited to be working in partnership with Rise Vision to bring this excellent platform to our displays,” says Scott Hix, CEO of Avocor. “This partnership enables us to offer our customers a complete solution that meets all of their collaboration and communication needs in one place, without burdening management and IT with complicated and disparate systems to manage as they work to keep their employees effective and informed.”
I have seen collaboration/video meeting companies developing very basic digital signage functionality to make screens intended for meetings useful when no meetings are on, but I’m not sure I’ve seen a well-established management platform like Rise Vision available to use. Rise is widely used in the educational market, so I could see an interest there.
