Video: NYC Bagel Shop Goes Digital

This a nicely packaged, gentle promo piece for Samsung’s recently launched Smart Signage TV solution aimed square at the S in the SMB market. Small businesses can pick up a display at a big box and pretty quickly have a digital sign set-up.

I also like it because it features Michael O’Halloran – one of the Samsung US Marketing guys driving this particular line of business – helping hang and bang a screen and training the client. Like that really happens ;-]

It’s a pretty smart little product, given it’s something you can just go to a Sam’s Club in the US and buy, without ever talking to an AV integrator or someone else in the digital signage food chain. As always, video does such a nice job of telling the story for what is a visual business.
