Projects: Shelf-Edge Digital In Europe

The in-store marketing firm Alrec Instore now has more than 3,000 networked screens running in European stores that are mounted at the shelf edge in aisles and sales counters, all aimed at moving tobacco product.
The units – one in line with smokes and the other over top a cabinet that has (I think) chewing tobacco, are all running off the signagelive platform.
signagelive is very good at making noise via social media about its product and marketplace success, and the company seems to be winning a lot of business lately. There are many companies who would desperately love 3,000 license software deals.
Immaterial but interesting side note: here’s how tobacco products are marketed in Ontario, Canada …
So there’s no growth opportunity here …
