Content: Short Bites Adds Consumer Tips; Lowers Prices

September 13, 2012 by Dave Haynes

Tracey Crowe sent an update on her Charlotte, NC-based company Short Bites Media, which produces and sells content packages for digital sign networks.

She’s added a set of consumer tips focused on energy savings, which add to packages she had on Fun Facts, Travel and going green. The latter is a big focus of the company.

You buy they finished spots in 10-packs, starting at a new, lowered price of $295 for the soft trivia content. You can preview spots in the gallery.

“As I’m sure you know,” says Crowe, “keeping fresh and up-to-date content on a digital signage system can be difficult and expensive. We hope our content can make it easier. We’re sure our new pricing makes it affordable.”

Crowe says her company’s content is designed specifically for digital signage networks and other short format media platforms. “It goes beyond typical graphics, still photos and ‘eye candy’ to incorporate dynamic HD video, innovative graphics and relevant information. You can order a package with either voiceover and music or just music. The segments are designed with animated text to support the information conveyed. Either way, you can be sure our content will engage viewers in a variety of environments.”

Notice the designs are all full-screen and the amount of information conveyed is limited to a big visual and just a few words. In most circumstances, this is sort of approach to take for all programming.
