Stratacache Opens Chicago Office

September 11, 2012 by Dave Haynes

I don’t think Stratacache was struggling for business but news the company is opening a Chicago sales and demo office still makes a bunch of sense.

The Dayton, Ohio-based software, hardware and services firm – which has some BIG clients like Lowes, Walgreens, H&M and McDonald’s – has an office now in suburban Oak Brook.

“The expansion of STRATACACHE into the Chicago area strengthens our national footprint and provides access to core sales and technical recourses needed for business growth,” says CEO Chris Riegel. “Chicago is a key region for many of our clients and establishing a greater presence in the area will allow us to support our customers’ needs more efficiently, while also expanding our technology offerings.”

The company already has several clients – like Mickey D’s – in Chicagoland, and the city is also home to LG, NEC and piles of retailers, QSRs, brand agencies, shopper marketers, fixture firms and creative shops. McDonald’s and ACE Hardware are both, actually, based in ritzy Oak Brook.

You can spend a lot of time and money humping stuff around the country to do demos, or talking people into 1 or 2 stop commuter jet flights to Dayton, or you can establish a nice office in a great city that is one non-stop from anywhere.
