Little Book of DOOH 2 is out

July 8, 2011 by Dave Haynes

My friends (and clients) at Al Barq Digital produced a clever little series called the Little Book of DOOH, micro-books that are intended to educate the nascent Middle East and North Africa marketplace on the basics about Digital Out Of Home.

The second one just arrived this morning in my mailbox, focused on planning. I know a third one is in production, focused on measurement.

Al Barq’s Natasha Hatherall puts these together. I’m not sure of the distribution and it would be costly as heck to mail these around to people, but if you have contacts in Dubai or Abu Dhabi …

The company, by the way, is primarily focused on digital posters and interactive stations in shopping malls, where people spend (on average) more than 2.5 hours per trip. Seems a lot, until you remember malls are air conditioned and cities in the Emirates get a little hot in the summer.
