Preset’s wicked-smart David Weinfeld is doing a webinar for the Digital Signage Federation next week called Mobile and Digital Signage are Allies, not Adversaries. It’s Dec. 16 at 1 pm EST.
The rise of mobile applications and smartphones shouldn’t stir fear in the minds of digital signage executives. It should enhance their optimism about digital signage as a connective platform across media channels. Mobile and digital signage are at their best when used together. They enhance one another. To do so, however, requires a cohesive brand strategy that takes advantage of consumer touch points across digital and physical environments.

Philly-based Weinfeld has been working closely the last couple of months with Obscura Digital, the immersive media company that has done, among other things, the huge interactive Rock Wall at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Vegas strip.
