VIF hits 1,000 digital signage screen milestone in Quebec
November 25, 2010 by Dave Haynes
Benoit Johnson, who runs Montreal-based VIF Communication, sent a note along to note his company just installed digital signage display no. 1,000 on its managed networks in Québec.
The bulk of those screens are in the fresh produce sections of some 200 IGA supermarkets around the province, which are intended to influence purchase behavior. VIF is also growing its relationship with the Laurentian Bank, putting customer-facing display systems into its new branches.
Johnson also works on the DOOH side of the business, operating an ad-driven network in the busy ATM lobbies of chartered banks, and has Medik TV, a waiting room network in medical clinics that is part of the ever-growing Canadian Health Media Network.
VIF works with another Montreal company, iGotcha Média, on the technology back-end.
Nice to see a little company start to really grow, and managed private networks for a big regional grocer and bank are nice contracts. Congratulations on the milestone, Ben!
