Maybe not as a full fledged player, but definitely applicable for personal and “on-the-fly” showings and demonstrations.

On the other side of the fence, we had one of our recent Academy of Digital Signage students build out a full set of content and a playlist using only his iPhone accessing the Cisco media designer. Again not for every situation, but having this capability in certain dynamic environments is something the industry should recognize.
