Like you I am intrigued be the emergence of the latest Intel Atom and RISC based micro-pc technology and their capabilities for Digital Signage. Thus far, other than the AOpen DE2700 http://www.signagelive.com/index.php/products/signagelive-devices/ the only other small form factor PC we have tested that offers price and performance suitable for the vast majority of Digital Signage projects is the Fit-PC2 that we reviewed here along with a video showing it in action http://www.signagelive.com/index.php/2009/11/fit-pc2-the-worlds-smallest-pc-powered-by-signagelive/
