I think Bill sums it up pretty well and I’ve gotten the (pretty much) the answers from Adobe.

I also agree with our ex-colleague Mr. Mongeau about development issues, but with developers who know what they are going, Flash 9 is fairly stable and I can barely imagine going back to anything else than Flash 10 for interactive touchscreen application development.

For pure content, things might be different.
