Alioscopy 3-D gets a public screen out there
May 11, 2009 by Dave Haynes
Alioscopy is a French company that has developed 3-D screen technology that is actually interesting, but the technology hasn’t been seen too far off a trade show or demo floor, at least on this side of the big pond.
But now street-level digital marketers InWindow Outdoor have a screen running on 7th and 50th in New York, outside a subway station. The screen is promoting Snickers bars and is married with large format printing.
It would be interesting to see how the mobs reacxt to this, as the technology can look great when looking and coming at it. But the crowds are walking past this screen.
