The full DIGI Awards list …
October 20, 2008 by Dave Haynes
There was a subtle knock on the door very late last night, and by the time I got to my foyer, all I could see were the tailights of a car speeding off down my lane. At my feet, a brown paper envelope, with my name hastily scrawled on it.
Inside were the shadowy names of the winners of last week’s DIGI Awards, announced last week but held from an anxious public until now.
OK, so maybe that’s not quite how it played out, but I do now have the names of the winning companies and categories, sent to me unofficially. There is still not a bunch more information in this official release, but at least it is a full list and negates the need to dig around any more.

The DIGI Awards are the only industry award program that recognizes the outstanding integrators, content providers and now product manufacturers focusing on digital signage. “This has been an exciting year for the DIGI awards. We have found our home at the fall Digital Signage Show, we have expanded our award categories and we have seen our entries triple over the last 12 month.”, stated Jill Miller, President of The Digital Signage Group. Miller goes on to say. “The creativity and diversity in the use of digital visual communication continues to grow as evidenced by the fantastic work of our latest winners.”
The judges were: Alan Brawn, Principal, Brawn Consulting; Lyle Bunn, Principal, Lyle Bunn Consulting; and David Keene, Executive Editor of Digital Signage Magazine.
I would have loved to read what it was about these variousa projects and products that set them apart, but … Well done to the recipients.
