Projects: LED Staircase Leads Way Into New Vegas Nightclub

I’m not quite sure how a company based in Ottawa, Ontario got a nightclub deal in Las Vegas, Nevada, but UTG Digital Media from Canada’s capital has installed a slick LED staircase at the new JEWEL Nightclub at the Aria casino-hotel.

The club opened in May, and is managed by the hospitality company Hakkasan Group, which also has other clubs around the strip.

The staircase has a blend of LED modules for stairs, accented by thousands of LED ribbons. UTG’s cabinet design involved removing the front panel of each riser of the steps and then installing LED modules custom-fit for each project. A transparent plexiglass cover protects the displays.

The 24,000 sq. ft. multi-level club has some 1,400 feet of LED ribbon lighting, most of it inside. the club was designed by NY’s Rockwell Group.
