I had never been in the Stratosphere, but we wandered up there from our hotel one night during DSE week to have a look in the new SLS casino (it’s different, but nice) and then we crossed the street and had a peek in the old casino with the giant tower.
The Stratosphere looks pretty much as expected, and we didn’t spend a lot of time. But I was struck by the content work being done on a slot bank topper display. Nothing fancy, but solid work that adheres to some key principles like clean design, contrasting colors, big visuals and easily viewed and digested text.
This stuff won’t win awards but it does show how the meat and potatoes creative that fills programming lists should be done.
