DSE 2015 Booth Field Guide: Freshwater Digital Media Partners

Matt Downey, President, Freshwater Digital Media Partners

Content Pavilion – Booth C3

Why do people going to DSE need to put Freshwater on their Must See list of booths?

Because We Do Content!  Freshwater focuses on the Digital Signage industry and continually strives to deliver smart, high quality custom creative content that is reasonably priced. This year at our booth we will have:

  • New 12 screen video wall arch
  • Interactive touch screen providing examples of Freshwater content
  • Live Wave demo – our software that allows for incredible dynamic content updates – and it will work with your current CMS
  • 4k screen with beautiful new content
  • Extreme Ring Swing! A new product offering from Freshwater.
  • Our booth this year is over 400% larger than previous years which is representative of the fortunate growth we have been experiencing.

What’s your big marketing message to attendees, and what’s it all about?

Our theme this year is “We Do…” Freshwater provides:

  • Custom Creative & Content
  • Content Management
  • Video Production
  • Technology research and development
  • Strategy (network and revenue).

Freshwater was born from the Digital Signage industry in response to a need we saw for a service provider that truly understands all aspects of the industry.  We can help develop a strategy, provide the content and then assist in running your network.  Freshwater is also what we call software/hardware agnostic.  We work with many of the best providers in the industry and are always adding more.  Regardless of your current system, we can support your network.

What’s the ideal profile of attendees walking into your booth?

Anyone interested in running a successful digital signage network.  Whether you are looking to add menu boards, retail signage, corporate communication, educational messaging or touch screens, Freshwater can assist you in making the right choices and provide you with content and creative that will achieve your goals while not breaking the bank.

Who don’t we want to come by our booth?  Grumpy people.

How many years have you been doing DSE and how has it changed?

I personally have been attending for about 6 years, and have been exhibiting for 4.  The first two years we attended as Wave Dynamic Advertising (our software company) and last past two as Freshwater.  The biggest change I have noticed is the vast reduction in the number of creative/content providers.  Which is why we are here!

Any advice for first-time attendees?

Go to some breakout sessions.  Wear comfortable shoes.  Drink lots of water.  Make sure you stop by the Screenfeed booth and say ‘Hi’ to my friend Jeremy Gavin.  And the most important piece of advice:  Come to the Freshwater booth in the Content Pavilion – Booth C3!
