Capital Networks Picks Up Award For Its NFC-Big Screen Integration

Congratulations to long-time industry friends and Sixteen:Nine sponsors Capital Networks, which has picked up a 2014 DIGI Award for what was judged one of the best new products for the digital signage market in 2013.

The Best New Audience Participation Tool award was for Audience.mobile, an integrated Dynamic NFC (Near Field Communication) solution.

I got a demo of this down at CETW and thought it was pretty slick in how the NFC tag at the screen was linked to individual ad spots showing on a screen, done through URL re-directs.
