Visionect’s Joan Meeting Room Assistant won in the Product Design category of the awards. The competition attracted almost 5,200 entries this year, from 57 countries, and a look through the winners has everything from global brands to start-ups, doing industrial design for everything from cars to umbrella-holders.
The jury of 41 design professionals, says Visionect, selected Joan due to its superb minimalism, ease of use and innovative epaper technology, and stated that “with its intelligent technology and a versatile appearance, Joan Meeting Room Assistant meets the needs of a digitally-dominated world of work.”
“Joan’s Red Dot Award is proof of dedicated teamwork. It’s a proud moment for us,” says Matej Zalar, CEO of Visionect. “Our efforts to develop an intelligent and easy to use solution for a modern workplace have been recognized and it’s a wonderful feeling.”
The awards were handed out earlier this week at a gala in Essen, Germany.
