San Jose-based PQ Labs has announced a new Android HDMI stick it touts as the most powerful on the market.

I’m not sure if it really is, or not, but it certainly has some power under the hood.

The iStick A300 is a 1.6 GHz quad-core and can take a solid state hard drive as large as 512 GB.

No indication on price, but the company’s earlier models are $70-$130 MSRP.

  1. “Quad Core 1.6 Ghz” means this has a RK3188 chip in there. The market is awash in these sticks for several months now. No idea how they can fit a 512 GB SSD, they must mean externally connected via USB, in which case, good luck with that.
