DFW's AMA chapter running Digital OOH session next week

This is nice to see … The Dallas-Forth Worth chapter of the American Marketing Association has organized a lunch and learn session next Friday on “The Evolution and Future of Digital Out-of-Home.”

At the Studio Movie Grill in Dallas on May 13th, three experts with personal knowledge of the Digital Out Of Home craft will discuss the convergence of television, cell phones, and social media, and the roles each will play in a Place-Based Media network future.

Those speakers are:

  • Jennifer Bolt, the Executive Director of Engagement Planning & Innovation at TracyLocke;
  • Mike Cearley, the Senior Vice President at Fleishman-Hillard;
  • Brian Hasenbauer, the Vice President of Marketing with indoorDIRECT.

 

That’s a solid crew, and not the sorts that will just sell their own pots and pans.

There’s a pretty substantial cluster of digital signage companies in the DFW area – like Reflect and Symon and several more – so it would be great if they can nudge some clients and prospects to show up. ┬áThese are the sorts of events the industry needs to get at decision-makers and influencers who aren’t likely to ever go to a focused trade show on the subject.
