Whatever happened to GSBC?

April 28, 2007 by Dave Haynes

For a company that was beating its chest about essentially taking over the digital signage industry just a few weeks ago, things sure are quiet.

When the excited pronouncements about takeovers and massive revenue expectations from Ronald Flynn (left) first popped up in the new year, there was a Flash website that kinda, sorta had some vague information.

Even after the “takeover” by Digicurve, a one-man Las Vegas company in the business of selling snapshots of female bodybuilders in their skimpies, there was still a GSBC website, albeit different.

So now they are trading on the NASDAQ OTC, and the GSBC website is one line of text on a white screen (“Welcome to GSBC Global. We are a company dedicated to the digital signage business. We are planning to come to a screen near you soon“) and Digicurve’s corporate presence online remains: “Welcome to Digicurve.”

Now, this could all be a simple reflection of the firm’s deep affection for minimalism.

They could be just re-doing the company website, but it would be strange to strip it back to nothing in the interim.

Or perhaps they are laying low. The tough thing about hyping the living daylights out of a stock play is that with the Internet, people can quickly gather information about companies and make up their own minds about how real or imagined the business plans may be.

Personally, I’m missing the guys. There are lots of companies out there calling themselves the best and the leader. But these guys are/were another thing altogether.

UPDATE: Found another website with all kinds of things spinning on it. Whoever does it could sure use a spell-checker.

well I believe in this company. I have been to Thailand and seen there operation. The founder is a honest and very straight forward man. There have been some up’s and downs for gsbc but from what I know and I have seen they are growing very fast and I think they will emerge as big winners.

  2. Josh Coffman says:

David, even if they were “growing fast”, their claims of global digital signage domination and the numbers they have thrown out are ridiculous.

And come on, look at the guy. He looks like he *might* fit in on a No Limit hold em game at Las Vegas. Even has his last name Flynn on his shirt and is sporting sort of stone that looks like it was from Jurassic Park.

But you “believe in this company?”

  3. David Morris says:

Mr. Josh Coffman I don’t judge people on what the wear or what they look like. If the truth be told the numbers you are speaking about were done by a company called Paragon. Flynn is the guy’s last name and many people have initials on there shirts. Please tell me that you are not so naive to believe everything you read.

I suggest you keep watching this company and see what announcements come out you might be very suprised.Oh and by the way that stone you mentioned is a pricless old relic from Thailand. I happened to know that because we met him in person and he showed us what is was and what the market value was for the piece. By the way in Thailand they call it a prawn.
In closing just for the record Flynn is not a suit and tie guy he is a guy that works 24 / 7 and gets results from what I have seen. I believe they will win big and I intend on winning with there company and Flynn.

    “YES I BELIEVE BIG TIME”

    regards

p.s This Flynn guy is a pro. I think the company will be a big sucsess

  5. screenmedia says:

Just a little perspective here on the posts from Mr. Henderson and Mr. Morris

They originate from exactly the same IP address, in Thailand — where this is all coming out of

  6. gerald dubin says:

DAVID MORRIS AND RICK HENDERSON ARE ACTUALLY RONALD FLYNN.
“THEY” USE THE WORD —“THERE” INSTEAD OF “THEIR”
RONALD FLYNN IS NOTORIOUS FOR HIS POOR SPELLING.I WORKED WITH HIM FOR OVER 2 YEARS AND FLYNN HAS BEEN MAKING THE SAME SPELLING MISTAKES FOR YEARS .

  7. thanks for that piece of information. very helpful.
