Screenfeed’s Gavin Mourns Loss Of Friend And Mentor Prince
April 21, 2016 by Dave Haynes
The sudden passing today of rock and pop icon Prince is particularly upsetting to Screenfeed founder Jeremy Gavin.
While there will be countless people in this industry who were big fans, and will mourn Prince’s unexpected death, Gavin was a friend and Prince a mentor to him. Gavin was the art director at Prince’s Paisley Park Studios, in the greater Minneapolis area, from 2003 to 2007. His Screenfeed team only recently wrapped up design of a tour book for the performer.
Prince, Eye'll treasure the times we spent together & lessons learned. U didn't need anyone to crown u. #Prince pic.twitter.com/XrTVl9wMF0
