Seneca Hosting Webinar On New Commercial-Grade Digital Signage Stick PC

April 5, 2016 by Dave Haynes

seneca-HDs-media-stickCustom computer manufacturer Seneca is doing a webinar next week – Thursday, April 14 at 2 – on the little commercial-grade PC on a stick it recently announced.

The Syracuse-based company describes the HDS as the first media stick form factor purpose-engineered for professional digital signage.

There are lots of Android sticks on the market, as well as the Asus Chromebit that runs ChromeOS, but these little sticks that plug into monitors through an HDMI port are fairly new to the x86 PC market, and the ones shipped to date are designed for the back of consumer TVs and periodic use, not the 24/7 needs of a sign network.
