The Toronto office of giant distributor Ingram Micro is running a Pro AV/Digital Signage vendor fair and what it calls a speed mixer (you drink fast???) on April 28th at the Toronto Congress Centre, which is up by the main airport.
The agenda sets up like this:
A general vendor fair and lunch starting at noon, and then at 2:30 a speaker to be named later will talk about how companies can quickly get into a new vertical market.
Then attendees will be put into groups and cycled through a series of show and tell sessions with the participating vendors, who include: BenQ, Epson, Optoma, Planar, Samsung and Sharp.
The registration page is here, and yes, Ingram says in its email blast it knows the time on the graphic is wrong. It starts at noon, not at 9.
Similar fairs are planned for later in the year in Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver.
