GDS / Global Display Solutions, Booth 822
Why do people going to DSE need to put your company on their Must See list of booths?
GDS will be showing a full interactive Quick Service Drive-Thru Order Point Solution that will have two-way video, so the customer can see the order taker and vice-versa. This solution works with many industry-leading partners including BrightSign and Kanex to provide an easy-to-deploy and simple-to-manage system.
We will also be showing our new 75” UHD Semi-Outdoor LCD. Developed for harsh environments, like between rails in subway stations, this LCD provides the latest technology in a display that is only 10cm thick. We will also have our 70” optically bonded retail displays in a beautiful stainless steel enclosure and showing the latest E Ink display technology.
Lastly, visitors will be able to see our new Vivace 47” 2000 nit display for in-window applications.
What’s your big marketing message to attendees, and what’s it all about?
This year, GDS is showing our latest display technology as a ready-to-go solution for QSR, Transportation and Retail applications. From the stainless steel kiosk that surrounds our 70” optically bonded high-contrast displays to our interactive 46” outdoor drive-thru displays, visitors will be able to envision how our advanced display technology can fit into their own specific requirements.
Our eTela E Ink displays will show the “UN-LCD”, to provide a digital poster for 13.3” and 32” diagonal sizes. A deployed version of our outdoor Gas Station Price Sign will also be on display.
What’s the ideal profile of attendees walking into your booth?
An end user or system integrator looking for a complete display solution for outdoor or indoor applications.
GDS’s capabilities and technologies are focused on large scale installations across a wide range of markets including QSR, Retail, Transportation, and other DOOH applications.
Show attendees will have a unique opportunity to experience our interactive QSR drive-thru display solution and our 75” 4K semi-outdoor digital poster.
How many years have you been doing DSE and how has it changed (if you think it has changed?) over the years?
This is our seventh year at DSE and we are proud to be an industry partner. As the Digital Signage industry has matured, so have the applications and solutions. We have seen a change towards displays that offer more features and resolutions.
The rapid pace and innovation in the digital signage market over the past seven years has been amazing and we are proud to be leading the way.
When you get a chance to get away from your booth, what will you be looking for and researching?
We will be looking at the latest display and touch technologies from interactivity to curved screens as well as media players and content management services that allow us to continue offering state-of-the-art display solutions.
What’s your favourite part of the week?
