Sharp Electronics, Booth 1223

Here’s what Gary Bailer, Director of Product Management, says DSE visitors should expect from Sharp in a couple of weeks. Sharp Electronics kindly stepped up as one of the sponsors of this year’s Preset Group DSE Mixer.

Why do people going to DSE need to put your company on their Must See list of booths?

sharp-logoAt last year’s Digital Signage Expo, we demonstrated how to “Engage with Sharp.” For DSE 2016, our theme “Relationships@Work” will show how Sharp’s strategic technology alliances can help take digital signage and deployment to whole new level.

At the booth, we’ll show you how our open architecture yields seamless digital signage integration. Thanks to Sharp’s utilization of open standard, customizing the perfect solution has never been easier.

We’re always looking for new relationships. Software and accessory providers can take advantage of our Sharp Strategic Technology Alliance Resource (STAR), our exclusive program for third-party products and services that compliment Sharp’s Pro AV products.

We’re also continuously enhancing our relationships with Sharp Pro AV dealers, integrators and consultants. That’s why we offer the Certified Reseller Program to help them increase opportunities. Sharp Pro AV Resellers receive numerous benefits, including the freedom to purchase from any Sharp authorized distributor, project registration program, government and education discounts and volume incentive rebates.

Come see everything that we have to offer and witness our relationships at work!

What’s your big marketing message to attendees, and what’s it all about?

Our message for DSE attendees is Relationships@Work. We’re eager to engage with current and perspective customers of digital signage and talk to them about their needs and see how we can help them with our professional and commercial-grade displays.

We also understand that none of us “sells a solution alone.” Whether you’re part of the sales channel or another technology provider, we all depend on each other to help create a total solution. A total digital signage solution, including screens, mounts, cables, switchers, and software, involves many different companies working in unison to address a customer needs. Sharp encourages engagement with other providers, working to co-market with them through the STAR Program.

In our booth, we will be highlighting a number of different providers that have helped us create a total solution.

What’s the ideal profile of attendees walking into your booth?

As the world’s longest running trade show dedicated to the digital signage market, DSE does such an phenomenal job of attracting the right people to the show! Specifically, we see our target audience consisting of both technology providers, anybody involved in the sales channel, and of course potential end users of Sharp digital signage solutions.

We’re looking forward to building new and strengthening existing relationships with show attendees; learning about their pain points, and what Sharp can do to help.

How many years have you been doing DSE and how has it changed (if you think it has changed?) over the years?

This will be our 12th straight year exhibiting at DSE. Over the years, we’ve seen the show grow and evolve in terms of building out its own content and educational programs, as well as creating more interactive and engaging demonstrations. It’s one of the shows we look forward to each year as we unveil new types of digital signage, demonstrate new technology, and provide an unforgettable booth experience!

Any advice for first-time attendees?

The main advice I would give attendees is to just take in as many educational opportunities that you can and make the most of all that the show offers. It’s a more intimate setting than some of the larger shows, which allows you to really take advantage of everything that’s going on.

Be sure to stop by Sharp’s booth #1223 to check out all of our engaging demonstrations including the technology demonstration of our 85” 8K Direct View LCD (pic at top). On top of that, we’ll be serving coffee all day and beer will be flowing during happy hour. Who can resist that?

P.S. Wear comfortable shoes!
