SEGD’s DesignX Event At DSE 2016 Exploring Smart Digital Experiences

February 29, 2016 by Dave Haynes

Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) is one of the sponsors this year of the annual Preset Group DSE Mixer, along with the graphics and signage firm CREO Industrial Arts.

The organization is running its first designX event at the Digital Signage Expo, a full day of talk and dialogue focused on learning for creating and managing digital customer experiences. It’s a spin on the excellent Xlab event that SEGD runs each fall in New York.

On the morning of March 15th, the event will focus on how to form and manage a digitally-centric project team, as well as how to develop a roadmap and strategy for alining content and experiences to your client’s business objectives.

In the afternoon, the sessions will explore how to select and navigate technology platforms and what makes the most sense for project goals. SEGD will continue the discussion with a learning session on budgeting for digital and round out the day with a session on new opportunities for growing digital services and improving the customer experiences through managed data analytics and metrics.

There’s a good set of speakers – some familiar from the eco-system, but others coming from outside the industry.

On Wednesday March 16th, attendees will visit the Digital Signage Expo show floor and experience group-led tours with designX sponsor vendors.

There’s still time to register. One of the perks of registration is auto-ticketing to the otherwise sold-out Preset Mixer the evening of the 15th.
