Exponation, the company that has for years run the Digital Signage Expo trade show, has struck an agreement that will see a version of the event in Brazil this July.

DSE South America is a joint venture with with South American trade show producer BTS Informa, and will be lo-located with something called SERIGRAFIA SIGN FUTURETEXTIL, a sign industry show that runs July 21-24 in Sao Paulo. The show gets 45,000 people, though they are coming for a bunch of interest areas, including screen printing, visual communications, signs, sublimation, digital printing, textile printing, promotional materials, gifts and customizing.

A pile of Brazilians have been coming to DSE the last 2-3 years, and I know from a few people active in that market that good things are happening there and in some of the other South American markets like Colombia.

“Digital Signage in Latin America is growing significantly. Brazil is one of the best potential digital signage markets in Latin America and is the main business entry into this region. We partnered with BTS Informa because of their significant resources, as well as their highly-professional trade show production and promotion track record. With this new long-term partnership, we are confident that DSE South America will quickly become the premier event in Latin America,” says Angelo Varrone, CEO/Chairman of Exponation, LLC.
