Creative: Two-Minutes Of Poppies On Remembrance Day
November 13, 2014 by Dave Haynes
Here’s a very nice little one-off program put together by Cineplex to run in nine of the bigger shopping malls in Canada – those run by Oxford Properties. This two minute video ran at 11 AM on Tuesday as a silent Remembrance Day tribute. The super-wide format owes to the 32:9 nine LED screens going in on bulkheads in the busy malls.
I like the tweet from a shopper at Yorkdale in Toronto:
I never thought I could be so touched by two minutes silence in a shopping mall. Thank you Yorkdale, that was very moving.
