DSE Sets Up All-Day Digital OOH Operator Summit
October 28, 2014 by Dave Haynes
Digital Signage Expo has had, for the last few years, a pile of pre-show education sessions on the day before the trade show floor opens up, and this year is no different. I THINK they’ve done Digital OOH stuff in the past, but the organizer say new this year is a full day, seven-part DOOH Network Operators Strategy Summit.
The program runs from 9 to 5 at the LVCC, and after that, if you score a ticket, you can head directly to the annual Preset Group DSE Mixer for a well-earned couple of cocktails. The presenters has a fair share of the usual suspects, but also some fairly heavy agency hitters who control the media spend for brands and senior people from most of the big US OOH firms.

- Lightning Round Q&A
The last lightning round bit is being run by my Preset partner Pat Hellberg, assuring once again that his set-up/execution work on the mixer is summed up with the question: “So where’s the mixer again, and when does it start?”
I just have him there as a celebrity greeter, and to show we admit seniors.
I like, by the way, the revised design on the DSE education sessions web pages. Tidy and friendly.
