DSrupted Update: More Speakers Teed Up

May 8, 2014 by Dave Haynes

logo-300Planning is coming along nicely for the DSrupted conference on Sept. 17th in Toronto. I’ve been more focused on completing the speaker line-up, and not paying much attention to marketing just yet.

Several companies have approached me – both from inside and outside the industry – offering to speak. But I have just five slots and am working pretty hard to find the right fit for each.

Two are already baked in. Vidya Nagarajan from Google (Chrome for Business)  and Paul Vincent from the HTML5-driven ad tech start-up Neuranet.

I’m 90% on one guy from the interactive and device world. We just need to have a one to one to make sure we’re completely on the same page.

I’m about 80% with a company that does amazing creative across all kinds of digital canvases. They just need to slow down enough for us to sort it out.

And I’m working on a guy I think would be awesome, if he’s available. Crazy good resume. But busy.

Stay tuned on that.

Thanks for all the notes from people saying they like the concept and that they plan to attend, and thanks to the folks who’ve already bought tickets, many, many weeks out.
