Projects: Lithuanian Cinema Trades Static For Digital
April 1, 2014 by Dave Haynes
Forum Cinemas UAB, the largest cinema chain in Lithuania, has cut over its menu boards and posters to a dynamic solution as part of a big modernization project.
The cinema chain’s Vilnius moviehouse is now running Samsung’s Smart Signage solution, using Signagelive as the back-end management platform. The cinema’s end-to-end digital signage solution comprises six video posters, six digital menu boards and an ultra-slim 2 by 2 HD video wall.
“This installation is the first Smart Signage project we have completed in the Baltics,” says Dovydas Stukas, Sales Manager of the project integrator, Hansab. “Signagelive’s device-agnostic support allows us to offer our clients an integrated solution that will interface with different screen types and sizes.”
“This installation gives us great credibility and will act as a springboard for other digital signage opportunities in the Baltic region,” says Jason Cremins, CEO of Signagelive. “Hansab is an important go-forward partner for Signagelive and we look forward to a establishing a long-standing business relationship with such a reputable organization.”
