Nothing Says Christmas Like An Intel® Core™ i5-2500S

I’d file this under curios – in that way Intel can do curious things. Like launch a digital signage content management system the market didn’t need (and then largely make it disappear). Five months later and still waiting for the guest post offered and accepted by Joes Avalos.

Anyway, Intel is opening a pop-up store in the Nolita micro-district of lower Manhattan. It will just be open for the holidays and will feature tech demos and the opportunity buy there, or online, products with Intel inside.

So you can buy … I guess a Lenovo laptop, or maybe a NUC? Maybe an i3 to i5 upgrade?

Odd. Making themselves part of a community where the average monthly rent is $3,000 achieves what for a chipmaker?
