When It Comes To Travel Rest, Nothing Tops 3D Headbanging

The whole auto-stereoscopic, glasses-free 3D thing is curious, but it just got weirder with news that now you can pull off a US highway for a much-needed comfort break and rest, and take in some ferocious head-banging.

The Travel Plaza TV network – which does its content in glass-free 3D –  ran a trailer starting last week for the new film  Metallica Through The Never in Travel Plaza convenience stores throughout the U.S.

“Having the chance to work on this project with Travel Plaza TV was very exciting,” said Eric Angello, CMO & Chief Creative Officer for Exceptional 3D, which output the 3D. “The trailer looks incredible in high-definition 3D, and now customers have a chance to enjoy a taste of the 3D experience, without the glasses, whenever they stop at one of the Travel Plaza TV network locations.”
