The Swedish digital signage software company DISE has joined the Android club, though the actual release date of the player software  is unspecified.

DISE says the new player supports multi-screen synchronization – which the company touts as a core strength of its platform – as well as a NoBorders feature that treats all sync’d screens as one big canvas during the content creation process.

“Adding an advanced android player to our portfolio strengthen our offering even more. We do believe that this will be a great asset to many of the markets we operate in” – Says Tobias Ekmark, Sales & Marketing Director at DISE International AB.

“Adding an advanced Android player to our portfolio strengthens our offering even more. We do believe that this will be a great asset to many of the markets we operate in,” says Tobias Ekmark, the company’s Sales & Marketing Director.

This is a software only thing, and the company is not selling a particular ARM-based device. That’s OK on one had because solid devices are still just coming on the market, but dodgy if you have different clients using different set-top boxes and sticks of widely varying quality – all of them expecting you to support them and resolve issues.

You can find the full list of Android options – now past 30 and still coming – right here.
