Bar-based Digital OOH Network Selects Signagelive For Platform

So, my first question looking at this picture, was: “What the heck is this thing?”

My second was: “What the hell is the woman on the right wearing?”

Can’t help on the choral-master thing, but I can tell you this is a vending machine used in clubs and bars in the UK to dispense products to “keep bar visitors and clubbers fresh and beautiful on nights out.”

So I assume that means cosmetics as opposed to, ummm, well, you know … items you buy if things are looking up for later.

The units have 19” HD widescreens with stereo sound that are integrated into each machine. The screens provide  advertising clients with the opportunity to display full sight, sound and motion TV advertising in an out of home setting.

The company, Trendy Media, has done a deal to have its 700 locations delivering and managing digital media using  Signagelive’s platform.

“Trendy Media has the largest style bar and nightclub screen network in the UK, working with renowned venues such as Gilgamesh, Anaya and Playground @ The Hilton,” says Trendy Media Director Rob Sutton. “Our clients, which include Paramount, Johnson & Johnson, P&G & Wrigley, require accountable campaigns, delivered promptly and without a hitch. The partnership with Signagelive ensures we continue to deliver the high quality campaigns expected by esteemed brands.”

Gilgamesh?

“The agreement with Trendy Media is a great win for Signagelive and a true partnership enabling both parties to expand together in the fast growing Digital Out of Home sector,” says Signagelive Director of Sales for EMEA Roy Martin. “The simple, scalable and cost effective solution offered by Signagelive was key to securing the Trendy Vend deal over our competitors. We are delighted to work with Trendy Media in a long term partnership to expand from the current 700 location to many thousand over the coming months and years.”
