People: Comqi Announces New CFO/COO

ComQi has announced Ifti Ifhar is joining the company as Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer, a gig based in the software and distribution gear company’s New York offices.

Ifhar is described as a seasoned finance, operations and administration executive with a broad experience of building robust infrastructures and A teams for fast growing global companies. Not that it matters much, but Ifhar’s background is things like security and risk mitigation solutions, remote cardiac solutions (what the heck is that?), application mapping technologies and super wide format printing systems.

He’s originally from Israel, where the Com part of the company (formerly known as Minicom) is mostly based.

I’m not sure ComQi had a CFO for a while. The last one I knew of was Tom Hawkins, who left about a year ago.
