DSE Beats Big Tech Shows In Digital Award Win

The people who run Digital Signage Expo have picked up a nice award for their online marketing efforts.

Expo Magazine has cited Exponation, along with exhibitor services company Freeman and PRNewswire, for its digital engagement work. The E.X.C.I.T.E.  awards specifically recognize excellence by trade show and events producers.

The online site, launched in January, promoted pre-show developments, and makes post-show information, including stats, photos, videos and awards finalist information easily accessible to industry people, as well as trade press.

“People come to DSE for education and the latest industry information,” says Chris Gibbs, President & COO of Exponation. “That’s what our brand stands for and why we have developed and now offer platforms like our show-specific microsite and the Digital Signage Connection website.”

Exponation had some significant competition. They beat out the massive Electronic Entertainment Expo (which gets almost 50,000 attendees) and the big Design West tech show in Silicon Valley.

Well done. The guys down in Atlanta do a nice job with pretty much every aspect of the show. Slick can be seen as a negative, but DSE is slick in all the good ways.
