The companies from six countries who contributed content for DOOH4Relief and DOOHgood should take some genuine pride in being nominated, as an aggregate, for that effort. Those companies included: Insteo, rVue, Context Media, Cineplex Digital, Groupe Viva, TMT Factory, iDklic, The Life Channel, TouchTunes, Outcast, ZipCast and the independent team of Judie Stillman/Producer, Taka Ikari/Design and Brian Arbuckle/Composer. Collectively, they produced some amazing spots in short order, and it’s a nice moment to see that recognized.
(Disclosure: I’m involved with several others in the volunteer-based DOOHgood effort)
The judges were (yay!) people who do this stuff, save one DSE staffer:
- Daniel Wilkins, President, n2
- Justin Carll, Interactive Manager, GA.PRC Interactive
- Steve Brooks, Digital Media Director, Creative Realities LLC
- Lisa Katz, Business Development, Never Without
- Florian Vollmer, Senior Vice President, Design Principal, Info Retail Inc.
- Susie Sanders, Digital Media Editor, Digital Signage Expo
All the awards will be handed out at a dinner at Caesar’s Palace on March 7th. Tickets are available online at www.digitalsignageexpo.net.
