DFW's AMA chapter running Digital OOH session next week

This is nice to see … The Dallas-Forth Worth chapter of the American Marketing Association has organized a lunch and learn session next Friday on “The Evolution and Future of Digital Out-of-Home.”

At the Studio Movie Grill in Dallas on May 13th, three experts with personal knowledge of the Digital Out Of Home craft will discuss the convergence of television, cell phones, and social media, and the roles each will play in a Place-Based Media network future.

That’s a solid crew, and not the sorts that will just sell their own pots and pans.
Seating is limited. Register now to reserve a place. Interested parties can register online. For those who register before May 12th at 7:00 p.m. the cost is $20 for members and $30 for guests. After that the fee increases by $10. Student members are $10.

There’s a pretty substantial cluster of digital signage companies in the DFW area – like Reflect and Symon and several more – so it would be great if they can nudge some clients and prospects to show up.  These are the sorts of events the industry needs to get at decision-makers and influencers who aren’t likely to ever go to a focused trade show on the subject.
