DSE Industry Forum sponsors filled, but still adding guests

March 31, 2011 by Dave Haynes

The DSE Industry Forum set for mid-May in the Tampa-St. Pete area has sold out its 16 sponsor slots and is now in the throes of rounding out its list of attendees willing to speed-date with vendors in return for a nice golf and relax getaway.

The sponsor list is heavy on the display side and light on software, which should be good news for Real Digital Media and NCR/Netkey. The rest of the list is Allure Global, Aopen, Christie Digital, Chief Manufacturing, Living 3D, NEC, Panasonic, Peerless Industries, Philips, PRN, PlayNetwork, Saddle Ranch Productions, Samsung and Sony.

The attendees, who spend roughly 15 minutes with each of the vendors on one of the two main days of the forum, are Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission, Airport Wireless Retail Stores, BC Place Stadium, Continental Airlines, Cadillac, CUNY Queens College, Dairy Queen, Eileen Fisher Clothiers, Franciscan Sisters of Chicago (Healthcare), Inova Health Systems, JPMorgan Chase, Kohler, NEMEON (National Retail Buying Consortium), Newk’s Express Cafe, Off Broadway Shoes, SunTrust Bank, Verizon Wireless, Wells Fargo, Westfield US and Yum! Brand Restaurants.

Good event and a nice mix of prospective accounts. This time around, Alan Brawn, George Yunis from Aramark and CRI’s Laura Davis-Taylor are doing one-hour education sessions.

The DSE folks are still sending out emails looking for a few more end-users. More details here: http://www.digitalsignageexpo.net/IndustryForums.aspx
