DSE 2011 – Screenfeed does content deal with AOL

February 23, 2011 by Dave Haynes

Screenfeed has done a content partnership deal with AOL that will get the online giant’s premium and niche content running on digital signage and digital out-of-home networks.

The Screenfeed content feeds include topics such as cooking,  entertainment, home improvement, finance, sports, style and travel.

Jeremy Gavin and his guys at the Minneapolis content shop have always done a nice job of packaging up feeds, and this is a nice move for them. Anything that gets DOOH and DS network people thinking beyond new and weather as content is welcomed.

The only cautionary note is that the content still needs to be relevant to what’s going on in that environment. New and different is a good start, but that doesn’t automatically mean it’s right.
