rAVe posts almost 500 product videos from ISE 2011

This is pretty wild when you think about it – the recent Integrated Systems Europe trade show was three days long, and the actual trade show floor was open a total of 25 hours. Somehow or other Gary Kayye of rAVe [Publications] and his team ran around and shot 480 or so product demo videos.
Using my astonishing math skills, and a calculator, I eventually figured out that’s 19 vids per hour, or one about every three minutes … not even factoring in bio breaks and taking careful note of when the larger vendors were pouring free drinks or putting out food.
The demos I have seen are hardly art — “Sales guy, here’s a mike, look at the camera, Talk!” — appears to be the directing cue. But for all the 35,000 who had time and budget to get to the show, this is a great service for all those who could not go, as well as for the vendors who get to extend their beyond the hall.
Note – rAVe is this blog’s content partner on digital signage matters.
