Querin leaves Zoom Media (Canada)

The company website and Linked In both confirm that Zoom Media‘s long-time President and COO for Canada, Andy Querin, has left the company.

As I understand it, from a separate source, it wasn’t his idea.

Toronto-based Querin had a series of responsibilities with the company since joining in May 2002, and has been in charge since 2006. He regularly air-shuttled up and back to Zoom’s main office in Montreal.

Querin went to Zoom from network TV, and start his working life in the agency business. Good guy.

François de Gaspé Beaubien, Zoom’s chairman, is in charge and sales are led by Dean Lacheur, a colleague from waaaay back at the original Elevator News Network (Dean was a co-founder).
