DSF says it has 150 members already

From my firm position on the fence, where I will stay for some time, the score is roughly 420-150 in the tomato-tossing match between the established Digital Signage Association and the fledgling Digital Signage Federation. The latter says it has already signed up 150 companies and individuals since it was formally launched last week.

I am not being cynical here (honest) but should point out an initial six-month membership was free last week at DSE and that offer has been extended to the middle of this month for anyone who attended the show. So that membership build needs that one asterisk beside it, for now.

I mostly avoided the whole discussion last week because I’m not interested in taking sides and, as has been noted, not convinced the goal of a single, unified voice body representing such broad vested interests is workable.
