I like the way you’re thinking Dave, Android OS is turning into a very adaptable open source alternative for DS media playback devices- Will all the projects I’ve been working on in Asia, I’ve seen my share of alpha hardware prototypes.

As for the playback performance of playback on mobile phones, I’ve seen impressive playback of HD quality video, but only on super fast networks like they have in Korea, these phones do good job on the both the newest snapdragon processor and also some scary fast, soon to be named prototypes. The day’s coming – and fast!
