We've been using the Revo and derivative

We’ve been using the Revo and derivative products for certain projects a while now, and I’m definitely a fan. The two caveats are:

1. Your software has to be optimized for Nvidia’s special kind of video acceleration, and

2. You can’t buy these things in the regular sales channel — it’s either retail (e.g. Newegg), a reseller-masquerading-as-distributor (e.g. CDW), or, in really gigantic quantities, from Acer themselves.

Oh, caveat #3 is that the Nvidia chip can’t accelerate Flash playback (Flash video being an exception, but I’m talking about the vector/animation stuff), so that still plays very slowly.
