It will be interesting to see where the budgets wind up, as retailing makes considerable revenue from in-store displays. What would be interesting to see would be how brand owners and companies connect to their audience in store if traditional modes of in-store marketing are not present.
In my opinion retailers and brand owners need to work on engaging with the customers and providing much better customer service and support to build their brand awareness. Living in Canada, i can notice that stores and some restaurants are down right rude, and even though your business is doing great, people are not genuinely happy with you.
