The Einstein’s Bagel I sometimes go to has a Ripple TV screen that’s on the wrong wall (to your back when you enter the restaurant rather than in front while you’re waiting in line to be served). Once everyone sits down, I’ve noticed that they’re otherwise occupied in conversation, reading, surfing the Web, etc., but not watching the screen, which tells me there’s also an issue with content. If other installations are like this, then I’d say TargetCast has its work cut out in revitalizing the network.
